29 CFR 1926.502(d)(6)(i):Unless the snaphook is a locking type and designed for the following connections, snaphooks shall not be engaged directly to webbing, rope or wire rope: Roof of Cabin 47D: An Employee working on the roof attached a shock lanyard snaphook from their personal fall arrest system to a rope connected to the D-ring anchor. The shock lanyard used was designed for direct connection to a D-ring. Employees were exposed to fall hazards.

Employees were exposed to fall hazards.
