29 CFR 1910.184(c)(14):Employers must not use slings without affixed and legible identification markings. a) On or about September 15, 2022, the employer did not ensure the slings utilized on the Floor Fix 1 crane had legible identification markings in that one of the slings utilized to lift semi trailer cabs floors had a worn tag where the vertical weight limit could not be read. b) On or about September 15, 2022, the employer did not ensure the slings utilized on the Floor Fix 1 crane had affixed identification markings in that one of the slings utilized to lift semi trailer cab floors was missing a tag. c) On or about September 15, 2022, the employer did not ensure the slings utilized on the Floor Fix 2 crane had legible identification markings in that one of the lanyards utilized to lift semi-trailer cab parts had a worn tag where the sling weight limits could not be read.

29 CFR 1910.184(d):Inspections. Each day before being used, the sling and all fastenings and attachments shall be inspected for damage or defects by a competent person designated by the employer. Additional inspections shall be performed during sling use, where service conditions warrant. Damaged or defective slings shall be immediately removed from service. a) On or about September 15, 2022, the employer's inspections of the slings utilized on the Floor Fix 1 crane were inadequate in that the condition of the tags on the slings was not inspected. b) On or about September 15, 2022, the employer's inspections of the slings utilized on the floor Fix 1 crane were inadequate in that the condition of the sling under the sling pad was not inspected. c) On or about September 15, 2022, the employer's inspections of the slings utilized on the Floor Fix 1 crane were inadequate in that the condition of the tags on the slings was not inspected.

One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc. a) On or about September 19, 2022 employees working with the Amada Vipros 358 King II turret in Building 2 were exposed to moving machine parts in that the turret did not have a guard to protect employees from being caught by the clamp arm. b) On or about December 22, 2022 employees working with the Amada Vipros 358 King II turret in Building 2 were exposed to moving machine parts in that the turret did not have a guard to protect employees from being caught by the clamp arm.
