29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s): Employees were exposed to amputation hazards from the Diamond Part Revolution Mechanical Power Press in B Side Fittings. The guard did not prevent entry of hands or fingers in to the point of operation. The guard extended over the control panel where employees had to reach behind the guard to operate the machine. The guard also had openings in the top, and bottom front of the guard that an employee could reach into the point of operation. Barrington Manufacturing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1212725, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/9/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 401 West Fields Street, in El Dorado Springs, MO 64744.
