29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 2590 E. County Hwy 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, FL; On or about September 01, 2022, the employer exposed employees to 16 feet 1 inch fall hazards in that employees were allowed to work from a balcony of a single-family dwelling (under construction) which is an elevated surface located on the second level with an unprotected edge.
