29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the jobsite located at 5343 North Meridian, Wichita KS, 67204, employees engaged in commercial framing activities, walking and working on the top level of the facility, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the unprotected edge to the ground below in that fall protection was not provided.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed At the jobsite located at 5343 Meridian, Wichita KS, 67204, employees engaged in commercial roofing/ framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the eave of the structure to the ground below while accessing and exiting the roof in that the portable ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing and was not secured to the structure.
