29 CFR  1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms.  a. 18 Haralson Ct, Livingston, New Jersey - Lot #10308  Employees working from pump jack scaffolds were not protected from falls by using a guardrail system at the ends of the platforms. Employees worked at the height of approximately 23  feet, installing siding on a residential building.  Violation observed August 31, 2022

29 CFR  1926.452(j)(2): Poles were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary.  a. 18 Haralson Ct, Livingston, New Jersey - Lot #10308  Employees worked from a pump jack scaffolds without securing the poles to a structure.  Scaffold poles were installed at an angle, were not anchored with bracing at the base, and did not have any other means to prevent the base from kicking out while employees worked at heights of approximately  23 feet, installing siding on a residential building.  Violation observed  8/31/2022

Violation observed 08/31/2022
