29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Basic Requirement. Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, the employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. 183 Packard Street, Lancaster, MA: On or about September 2, 2022, the employer had not reported the in-patient hospitalization of an employee within 24 hours of a work related incident. the employer did not report to OSHA an employee injury resulting in an in-patient hospitalization. The employee's date of hospitalization was September 2, 2022 and OSHA first became aware of the hospitalization on September 6, 2022.
