29 CFR  1926.701(b): Reinforcing steel. All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement.   (a) Jobsite - On or about September 7, 2022 the employer did not install protective caps over exposed rebar ranging in height of 28 to 58 inches exposing employees to an impalement hazard as they entered the work area.
