29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Work site was located at 38 Wyckoff Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736 A worker was exposed to fall hazards in excess of two stories to ground as he was nailing sections to the roof trusses from outside the frame with no fall protection on. Violation was observed on or about 9/8/22. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. STH Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1526810, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/3/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 20 Upland Road, Ramsey, NJ 07446.
