29 CFR 1926.1052(b)(1): Foot traffic was not prohibited on stairways where the treads and/or landings of pan stairs were to be filled in with concrete or other material at a later date and stairs were not temporarily fitted with wood or other solid material at least to the top edge of each pan: (a) On or about August 31, 2022 - 240 Stadium Way, Madison, AL, employees were exposed to trip hazards when the boards used to fill the pan were approximately 3/8 inch lower than the lip of the pan.

29 CFR 1926.1052(b)(2): Foot traffic was not prohibited on skeleton metal stairs where permanent treads and/or landings were to be installed at a later date and the stairs were not fitted with secured temporary treads and/or landings long enough to cover the entire tread or landing area: (a) On or about August 31, 2022 - 240 Stadium Way, Madison, AL, employees were exposed to trip hazards when the boards used to fill the pan did not cover the entire tread area.
