29 CFR  1910.107(b)(9): Cleaning. Spray booths shall be so installed that all portions are readily accessible for cleaning. A clear space of not less than 3 feet on all sides shall be kept free from storage or combustible construction.  a.) On or about December 5, 2022, the employer did not have 3 feet of space on all side of the spray booth free from storage in that equipment such as, but not limited to a work bench made of wood, a flammable liquid storage cabinet, and paint gun washer station containing flammable liquid were stored against the outside wall of the spray booth.

29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.  a.) On or about August 8, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the Sears, Roebuck and Co Model 113.21371 15.5" Drill Press, located in Mech 5, had a guard over the chuck and the drill bit used to drill out pilot holes for a broken bracket.  b.) On or about December 2, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the Enerpac 100-ton Hydraulic Press, located in Mech 1, was adequately guarded in that employees are exposed to hazards at the point of operation, such as pinch points and amputation, due to employees being able to remove the plexi-glass guard.

29 CFR  1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Inside of buildings, cylinders shall be stored in a well-protected, well-ventilated, dry location, at least 20 (6.1 m) feet from highly combustible materials such as oil or excelsior. Cylinders should be stored in definitely assigned places away from elevators, stairs, or gangways. Assigned storage spaces shall be located where cylinders will not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons. Cylinders shall not be kept in unventilated enclosures such as lockers and cupboards.  a) On September 7, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the Food Grade Carbon Dioxide cylinder was not secure from being knocked over by employees entering the back storage and dish storage area of the International Restaurant.
