29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. On or about September 12, 2022, two employees were working on the roof of a home under new construction using pneumatic nail guns without using eye protection, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by flying particles.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m), or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On or about September 12, 2022, two employees were performing roofing operations on a residential home under construction up to approximately 18 feet high without fall protection, exposing the employees to fall hazards.
