29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(iv): Midrails were not installed at a height approximately midway between the top edge of the guardrail system and the platform surface: A.) Harris Masonry Inc., worksite at White Course Drive, State College, Pennsylvania 16801 - On or about September 9, 2022, employees were conducting bricklaying operations for a stairway mock-up from a scaffold without a full mid-rail in place that was at least approximately midway between the top edge of the guardrail system and the platform surface at the end of the scaffold, while exposed to a fall hazard of 11.75-feet. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
