29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At the jobsite located at 25359 W 92nd Street Lenexa, Kansas, employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 12 feet from the eave of the roof to the ground below. The employees were not provided fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(2): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses eye protection that provides side protection when there is a hazard from flying objects. Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable. At the jobsites located at 25359 W 92nd Street Lenexa, Kansas, employees engaged in residential roofing activities using a pneumatic nail gun were exposed to struck-by hazards. Employees were not provided with eye protection.
