Employees working at West 170th Street in Olathe, Kansas, engaged in framing activities were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 12 feet from the roof to the ground below. Employees were not using fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail. Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees working at West 170th Street in Olathe, Kansas, engaged in framing activities were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 6 feet. A handrail was not provided for the stair case from the second floor of the building to the first floor.
