29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) At 544 Turpentine Trail, lot 1222, Bloomingdale, GA 31302, on or about September 16, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 10 feet, in that the extension ladder the crew used to gain access to the second floor did not have the side rails of the ladder extended at least three feet above the landing to provide safe access to the second floor.
