29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about September 14, 2022, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling while working without fall protection from steep pitched roof surfaces having a ground to eave height of approximately 17 feet. A M Brothers Roofing and Siding Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or an equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1537493, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 16, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1504 Walnut Ave. DesPlaines, IL. 60016.
