29 CFR 1926.602(d): The requirements applicable to construction work under paragraph (d) of this section are identical to those set forth at paragraph (l) of 29 CFR 1910.178:  29 CFR  1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l):  On or about September 19, 2022, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards and falling debris while performing roofing and ground cleanup work and the employer did not ensure the operator of the Genie GTH-844 telehandler/rough terrain forklift were effectively trained as referenced by the note contained in 29 CFR 1926.602(d).
