29 CFR 1910.28(b)(13)(i): The employer did not ensure that when work is performed less than 6 feet (1.6 m) from the roof edge, each employee is protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, travel restraint system, or personal fall arrest system. a. On the roof of the jobsite located at 15 Poinciana Cove Road, Saint Augustine Florida: On or about September 21, 2022 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 4 feet, in that fall protection was not utilized by employees, while blowing leaves and debris off of the roof while working less than 6 feet from the edge of the roof.
