29 CFR  1910.132(c):  Design. All personal protective equipment shall be of safe design and construction for the work to be performed.  On or about September 13, 2022, at an establishment located at 1815 Marathon Ave., in Neenah, Wisconsin; in the Maintenance Shop; employees were exposed to entanglement hazards while donning Ansell HyFlex level 5 cut gloves which were not of safe design or construction for manual work performed next to the rotating parts.  While hand polishing a work piece using the Lansing-T lathe an employee sustained amputation injuries when one of the gloves became entangled in the rotating part.
