29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): General Safety and Health Provisions. Accident prevention responsibilities. Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. a) On or about September 21, 2022, the employer did not ensure that frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite were completed by a competent person in that the retaining wall was not inspected to ensure that it was being built with a concrete supporting wall in accordance with the engineered designed specifications, exposing employees to collapsing hazard.
