The employer fails to assure effective protection against struck by hazards as required by the standard, as demonstrated on September 24, 2022, 8920 N. Newport Ave Tampa, FL 33604, when three employees were exposed to eye injuries while operating pneumatic nail guns, hammers and portal circular saws during framing operations at, in that; eye protection was not used by the employees.

An employee framing is not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on September 24, 2022, at 8920 N. Newport Ave Tampa, FL 33604, when an employee is framing the structure and is exposed to an approximate 11-foot and 15-foot fall hazard to the ground in that fall protection equipment is not installed or utilized. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that all employees wear appropriate fall protection when an employee works more than 6 feet above the next lower level.
