Where there is only one exit access leading to an exit or exit discharge, the width of the exit and exit discharge must be at least equal to the width of the exit access.  On or about September 26, 2022, at an establishment located at 2700 Roosevelt Road in Marinette, Wisconsin;   a) The employer did not ensure that an exit access at the back of the store was at least 28 inches wide at all points. The exit was accessed via a hallway with two double doors. Items protruding into the exit access narrowed the pathway to approximately 23.25 inches, exposing employees to fire hazards during an emergency.  b) The employer did not ensure that the exit access in the storage room was at least 28 inches wide at all points. Approximately six exit access pathways were either blocked or had materials projecting into the pathway that narrowed the access to less than 28 inches, exposing employees to fire hazards during an emergency.

On or about September 26, 2022, at an establishment located at 2700 Roosevelt Road in Marinette, Wisconsin;   a) The employer did not ensure that an exit route in a hallway near the back of the store and labeled as an exit was free and unobstructed. The exit route contained product display shelves that projected into the pathway, exposing employees to fire hazards during an emergency.  b) The employer did not ensure that exit routes in the storage room were free and unobstructed. The main exit pathway and the exit routes between the storage racks were either blocked or had materials projecting into the route, exposing employees to fire hazards during an emergency.
