29 CFR 1910.28(a)(1):1910.28(a)(1): The employer did not provide protection for each employee exposed to fall and falling object hazards. The employer did not ensure that all fall protection and falling object protection required by this section meet the criteria in � 1910.29, except that personal fall protection systems required by this section meet the criteria of � 1910.140. a) Warehouse Area- On or about October 3, 2022, employees accessing racking, approximately 20 feet above the ground below, were not secured to a personal fall arrest systems or other means of fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
