29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  (a)Sunbird, Inc. at 205 Wyoming Avenue Southwest in Huron, SD 57350: On and about and at times prior to October 4, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards when working on the metal grating platform in the southwest corner of the plant, in the vicinity of the gravity table,  in that the north edge of the platform was unprotected and greater that four feet above the lower level. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards in excess of four feet.   (b)Sunbird, Inc. at 205 Wyoming Avenue Southwest in Huron, SD 57350: On and about and at times prior to October 4, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards when working on catwalk in the loading bay in that the entrance of the  catwalk was unprotected and greater that four feet above the lower level. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards in excess of four feet.
