29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 1145 Sutton Ct, Mobile, AL; On or about October 5, 2022 and at times prior to the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 10 feet 6 inches in that employees were allowed to utilize a extendable ladder to access the roof without requiring that the ladder be extended 3 feet above the area being accessed.
