29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which described how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200 paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training would be met. Employees were exposed to health hazards. Employees engaged in pet care activities at Unleashed Pet Rescue & Adoption at 5918 Broadmoor Street Mission KS were exposed to health hazards in that the employer had not developed and implemented a comprehensive hazard communication program. Hazardous Chemicals used at the workplace include but are not limited to Bleach, which causes severe skin burns, corrosive and eye damage. ADVION WDG (Indoxacarb, Kaolin, Pure Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide, Dioxosilane) causes damage to organs (Blood, Heart, Nervous system) through prolonged or repeated exposure, harmful if swallowed and may cause cancer.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure Employees were exposed to fire and electrical shock hazards. Employees are exposed to flexible cords and or cables being used as a substitute for fixed wiring at Unleashed Pet Rescue at 5918 Broadmoor Str. Mission, KS. Extension cord plugged into a power strip was being used in laundry room and an electrical cord was being used in the OB room to run lighting.
