29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1):Circular handfed crosscut table saw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut:  a) Facility: On or about October 6, 2022, and times prior to, employees were exposed to an amputation injury while using the Powermatic table saw (Model #66, Serial #00100663415) as the employer did not ensure that the saw blade was properly guarded.  Bucks County Shutters LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.213(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1561495, Citation number 1, Item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on May 5, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 940 Thomas Drive WARRINGTON, PA 18976.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:  a) Facility: On or about October 6, 2022, an employee was exposed to fire and electrical hazards while operating a portable electric belt sander that was operating off of an extension cord which was plugged into a relocatable power tap.  In addition, the relocatable power tap was not connected directly to an outlet and was being daisy chained between multiple extension cords.  For Reference:  Underwriters Laboratories (UL), refers to power strips as Relocatable Power Taps (RPTs) and, in its "General Information for Electrical Equipment Directory" (sometimes called the UL White Book or UL Directory) contains instructions that require UL-listed RPTs to be directly connected to a permanently installed branch circuit receptacle; they are not to be series-connected to other RPTs or connected to extension cords.  Bucks County Shutters LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1561495, Citation number 1, Item number 6 and was affirmed as a final order on May 5, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 940 Thomas Drive WARRINGTON, PA 18976.

This condition exposes employees to electrical and fire hazards.
