29 CFR 1910.179(l)(3)(i): Any unsafe conditions disclosed by the inspection requirements of paragraph (j) of this section shall be corrected before operation of the crane is resumed. Adjustments and repairs shall be done only by designated personnel: On or about October 3, 2022, at a workplace located at 100 East Randolph Street, Wausau, Wisconsin in the D6 Rotor Fabrication Department: The Lift Loader 10-ton crane was not removed from service after inspection reports from two independent companies indicated the bridge end trucks were not parallel and were causing the bridge to skew and/or ride up on the rails.
