29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(3)(iii):Dust and debris containing asbestos containing material and presumed asbestos containing material were dry swept, shoveled or removed by other dry clean-up methods: a)3320 S Richfield Street Aurora, CO 80013: On or about October 7, 2022, employees were exposed to unnecessary and additional airborne asbestos fibers while in an asbestos containment. Friable asbestos was being removed (e.g. drywall texture). The employer failed to ensure brooms were not utilized in containment to prevent dry sweeping. The area where the broom was located was not wet.

The employer did not ensure all the circuits within the negative pressure enclosure were either deactivated or equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter.
