29 CFR 1926.702(h): Bull float handles, used where they might contact energized electrical conductors, were not constructed of nonconductive material or insulated with a nonconductive sheath whose electrical and mechanical characteristics provided the equivalent protection of a handle constructed of nonconductive material: The employer was failing to protect employees from electrical hazards. This was most recently documented at a worksite located at or near the location between Beemer Road and Indian Trail Road, Beemer Nebraska on or about October 6, 2022. An employee was using a conductive metal bull float handle that came in too close of proximity to an overhead power line causing electrical injuries.
