29 CFR 1926.454(a):The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a) Residential Construction Site: On or about October 12, 2012, and prior to, the employer failed to ensure employees performing exterior remodeling on residential home from a scaffold platform placed on ladder rungs were trained on the hazards associated with scaffolding and procedures to minimize these hazards exposing employees to a 18-foot fall hazard.
