29 CFR 1910.140(c)(18): 29 CFR 1910.140(c)(18): The employer did not ensure that personal fall protection systems are inspected before initial use during each workshift for mildew, wear, damage, and other deterioration, and defective components are removed from service. a) Worksite was located at 50 Gibson Place, Freehold, NJ 07728 Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately four stories as they had been provided harnesses and lanyards to use for fall protection that had been chemically contaminated compromising the integrity of the equipment. Violation was observed on or about October 12, 2022.
