29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by industrial robot systems:  a) On or about September 1, 2022 employees were exposed to moving Automated Guided Industrial Vehicles (AGVs) struck-by hazard while working in their stations at the JL Front Line area. The employer did not ensure that AGVs (Daifuku Smart Cart industrial robot systems) carrying oversized loads were adequately safeguarded to prevent collisions with objects and persons in their travel paths.  b) On or about October 13, 2022 employees were exposed to moving Automated Guided Industrial Vehicles (AGVs) struck-by hazard while working in their stations at the JL Front Line area, Drivers Side and Passenger Side lines. The employer did not ensure that AGVs (Daifuku Smart Cart industrial robot systems) carrying oversized loads were adequately safeguarded to prevent collisions with objects and persons in their travel paths.
