29 CFR  1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  a) Dollar General Store #3066 - 14147 W. Colonial Dr. Orlando, Florida 34787: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and obstruction hazards as demonstrated on or about October 14, 2022, and times prior, in the receiving/backroom, where employees move, work, and retrieve merchandise. In that, the western most exit door was obstructed by multiple shelves and tiers full of material. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that exit doors are kept clear and unobstructed.   b) Dollar General Store #3066 - 14147 W. Colonial Dr. Orlando, Florida 34787: The employer failed to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and obstruction hazards as demonstrated on or about October 14, 2022, and times prior, in the receiving/backroom, where employees move, work, and retrieve merchandise. In that, the two eastern exit doors were obstructed by multiple rolltainers and boxes of product. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that exit doors are kept clear and unobstructed.

29 CFR  1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.  a) Dollar General Store #3066 - 14147 W. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL : The employer fails to ensure effective protection against trip and fall hazards as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about October 14, 2022, when the receiving/back room was not kept clean, sanitary, and orderly, preventing employees from moving product in and out of the receiving/back room onto the sales floor and from delivery trucks.  DG Retail, LLC dba Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1439273, citation 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 345 E. Main St, Galesburg, IL, 61401.    DG Retail, LLC dba Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1436276, citation 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 905 4th Street West, Milan, IL, 61264.     The Dolgencorp, LLC dba Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1376785 citation number 2 item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on July 29, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 7025 US-231, Panama City, Florida.
