29 CFR  1910.22(a)(1): 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.   At the commercial retail worksite located at 12110 S 71 Hwy Suite B, Grandview Missouri, employees were exposed to serious injuries in that slips, trips, and fall hazards were created by the abundance of clutter from boxes and garbage bags strewn in the back room storage area.

29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points.  At the commercial retail worksite located at 12110 S 71 Hwy Suite B, Grandview Missouri, the exit route by the South East Corner to the left of the overhead door was 20 inches in width at multiple points.

29 CFR  1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not free and/or unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor.    At the commercial retail worksite located at 12110 S 71 Hwy Suite B, Grandview Missouri, employees were exposed to serious injuries from fire, smoke, and flames as the exit routes were blocked by merchandise boxes stocked on carts and on the floor cluttering the path to an emergency exit access. The employer exposed employees to these hazards by allowing them to work in the storage room area with an emergency exit that was not kept free and unobstructed.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space were not provided and maintained for all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  At a commercial retail worksite located at 12110 S 71 Hwy Suite B, Grandview Missouri, store merchandise boxes, and carts were blocking access to the electrical panels. This exposed employees and third-party contractors to trips, slips, and fall hazards in getting to the electrical panels. This was documented on or about 10/17/2022.
