29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2): Extensible and articulating boom platforms. 29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): (v) A personal fall arrest or travel restraint system that meets the requirements in 29 CFR part 1910, subpart I, shall be worn and attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a) On or about October 19, 2022, at jobsite located at Del Webb Boulevard, approximately 177 feet west of Illinois Route 47, Huntley, Illinois, the employer did not ensure all employees were wearing a safety harness while working from an aerial lift. Employees had personal fall arrest systems on site but did not utilize them while operating aerial lifts.
