The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated under 1926.502(e).  (a) Location - 1 Boston Way, Newburyport, MA  On or about 02/08/2021, employees working from an aerial lift were not protected from ejection hazards where personal fall restraint equipment was not worn or connected to the basket of the lift.  The Freestone Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1513915, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/01/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1 Boston Way, Newburyport, MA.
