29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition: a.) US Postal Service dba Girard Post Office - On or about 10/19/22, the ramp used to move carts of mail on and off a loading dock twice per day was cracked. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired. a.) US Postal Service dba Girard Post Office - On or about 10/19/22, the ramp was not replaced or repaired prior to allowing the ramp to be used. The ramp was used to move carts of mail on and off a loading dock twice per day was cracked.
