29 CFR  1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:  a) Facility - Batching & Drying areas - On or about September 7, 2022, employees were exposed to a thermal burn hazard from boing hot water discharged from a hose during the kosherization process and the employer did not provide or require the use of appropriate personal protective equipment such as rubber insulated boots.     b) Facility - Batching & Drying areas - On or about October 14, 2022, employees used caustic chemicals during the cleaning process and the employer did not provide appropriate personal protective equipment in that coveralls were only available in one size and were not protective for the chemicals handled.  Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.  Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
