29 CFR 1918.85(l): When an employee was working along an unguarded edge where a fall hazard existed, the employer did not provide fall protection meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1918.85(k). On or about 10/20/2022, at Berth 32, 4200 McIntosh Road, Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33306, employees were exposed to 8'3" fall hazards to lower level when working on the deck of a ship without any fall protective systems as they assisted with the loading of shipping containers.
