29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Such programs did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employer: a. D.R. Horton - Colorado, LLC., On October 12, 2022 as the controlling employer, did not protect employees from slips and trip hazards. An employee was directed to work on the roof of new residential construction when the ladder being used slipped causing the employee to fall over 15 feet. The employer failed to detect and prevent changing work conditions to protect employees. This condition exposed employees to broken bones and head injuries. b. . D.R. Horton - Colorado, LLC., On October 12, 2022 as the controlling employer, did not ensure that employees were protected from injury in that employees were conducting roofing operations at heights over 15 feet on new residential construction without the use of fall protection. This condition exposes to employees to head injuries and broken bones.
