29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: On or about October 25, 2022, the employer did not provide flame retardant and molten metal resistant clothing to temporary workers who are working in the Die Cast department. Temporary employees are required to pour hot metal into the shot well hole/chamber of the die cast machines, to include but not limited to die cast machine #6, with a handheld ladle.
