29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.  a) This violation occurred on or about October 25, 2022, and at times prior thereto; in the scrap department, where employees were exposed to being caught-in and crush-by the unguarded pinch point created by moving rollers on the transfer roller table from the scrap saw machine.  b) This violation occurred on or about October 21, 2022, and at times prior thereto; in the scrap department, where employees were exposed to being crush-by and amputation hazards from the unguarded clamp and saw blade from the scrap saw machine.
