29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(A)(1): When an unqualified person was working in an elevated position near overhead lines with voltages to ground rated at 50 kV or below, the location was not such that the person and the longest conductive object he or she could contact were at least 10 feet apart: On or about October 21, 2022, at a residential structure located at 247 Southland Road, Palm Beach, Florida, an employee was exposed to electrical shock and electrocution hazards when performing palm tree seed trimming work approximately 4 feet, 7 inches away from energized overhead power lines carrying 7,620 volts.

29 CFR 1910.332(b)(2):Employees, who were not qualified persons, were not trained in and familiar with any electrically related safety practices not specifically addressed by 29 CFR 1910.331 through 29 CFR 1910.335, but which were necessary for their safety: On or about October 21, 2022, at a residential structure located at 247 Southland Road, Palm Beach, Florida, an employee was exposed to electrical shock and electrocution hazards when performing palm tree seed trimming work in close proximity to energized overhead power lines prior to being provided with training that would enable him to recognize the approach distances and hazards associated with working near those power lines.
