29 CFR  1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.  A) 100 Middlesex Ave,  Suite #2, Carteret, NJ  The employer did not provide a safe passageway  for employees to move merchandise in and out of the aisles of the warehouse to the staging area for  truck pickup.  Boxes and pallets of merchandise that were stored in the passageway and not stored on the racking system, not allowing safe passageway for employee to retrieve merchandise.  Observed on or about October 26, 2022

The battery charging installations were exposed to traffic. Employees were engaged in warehousing activities while working around battery charging stations.    Violation observed on or about October 26, 2022

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1)(i):Sufficient access and working space was not provided for circuit breaker panels to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance.  A) 100 Middlesex Ave  Suite 2, Carteret, NJ  The employer did not ensure that adequate spacing was provided for electrical service panels in the warehouse.  Various items were stored within the prescribed space. The circuit breaker was exposed was obstructed by equipment and debris and did not have a minimum of 3 feet of clearance in the event of an electrical emergency.    Observed on or about October 26, 2022.
