29 CFR  1910.95(d)(1):A representative noise monitoring program was not developed and implemented when information indicated that an employee's exposure may equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 dBA;   AMP United, 1170 E. Olney Road, Norfolk, VA 23504:  On 10/28/22, and times prior thereto, the employer failed to conduct noise dosimetry studies to assess employee exposures to high noise operations.  Without such dosimetry, the employer was unable to confirm the effectiveness and adequacy of assigned PPE for employees working with power tools and performing other types of work the employer recognized as causing exposure to high noise.  Abatement certification required within 30 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
