29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about October 28, 2022, employees conducting roofing activities (shingle installation) on a 8:12 pitch roof of the main house structure were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9.8 feet on the south side of the residential structure. (b) On or about October 28, 2022, employees working on the flat roof of the main house structure were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9.8 feet on the flat roof located on the north side of the residential structure.
