29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2):The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On or about October 21, 2022, the employer did not report within 24 hours the in-patient hospitalization of an employee who received a left hand injury while operating a Tecnau machine at there workplace. OSHA was not notified of the injury and in-patient hospitalization until on or about October 31, 2022, during an opening conference with the employer as a result of an OSHA online complaint received.
