29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1):Energy control program. The employer did not establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: location: production floor on or about: 10/17/22 a) The employer did not have an adequate energy control program, including specific energy control procedures and employee training on isolating machines or equipment from energy sources. Employees maintain and service equipment including but not limited to the OMAG C3 vertical form/fill/seal machine. NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
